National Onsite: Finally, Software Built just for Us

National Onsite’s new mobile app creates a permanent, property-based “SepticFax” for septic systems, helping contractors save time and avoid repeat guesswork. Designed for field use, it offers GPS-tagging, photo annotation, scheduling, payments, and compliance-ready reports—all from a smartphone. A unique TSS analyzer delivers instant readings using AI. As more contractors contribute data, the platform builds a shared industry database that improves service quality, boosts efficiency, and simplifies inspections for future property owners.

New software creates a "SepticFax" for properties while saving contractors time and headaches

You've been there: standing in a customer's backyard on a sweltering day, probing randomly for a septic tank while the homeowner shrugs helplessly. Meanwhile, another contractor did the exact same dance three years ago, but that information disappeared with their invoice.

National Onsite is changing this frustrating reality with a mobile-first platform built specifically for septic professionals with dirty hands and little patience for complicated tech.

"This isn't your typical business software," explains Lee Rashkin, CEO and industry veteran. "We built it for contractors who need big buttons, high contrast for sunny conditions, and absolutely no office computer required after a 12-hour workday."

What sets National Onsite apart is its property-based record system. Unlike conventional software that organizes by customer, National Onsite attaches all service records, photos, and component locations to the physical property address, creating a permanent, accessible history that benefits both current and future service providers.

John Vlk, owner of Vlk Septic, a New Hampshire septic inspector, installer, and pumper who beta-tested the platform, says: "I can GPS-mark exactly where the component is located, take photos, annotate them, and know I'll find everything immediately on the next service call. No more treasure hunts."

The platform seamlessly handles scheduling, payment processing (including financing options for customers), and report generation for inspections, pumping, and maintenance—with state-specific compliance options built-in. National Onsite handles payments through familiar systems like Stripe and Apple Pay, with standard integration standards like QuickBooks and Google Calendar planned for mid-2025.

One standout feature generating buzz is the machine learning TSS analyzer. The TSS reader lets contractors get a TSS result instantly using a specially designed sample canister and their smartphone camera. The goal is to help track performance trends across service visits.

The real innovation, though, is the community data approach. When contractors document systems, that information benefits everyone—creating what Rashkin calls a "SepticFax" effect. New homeowners gain immediate system insights, and contractors arrive informed instead of in the dark.

As real estate inspection requirements expand nationwide, this accumulated property knowledge becomes even more valuable. Every documented system contributes to an industry database that grows smarter over time.

"The more contractors who join," Rashkin notes, "the more we all benefit from expanded data networks—potentially tracking 100,000’s systems annually across the country."

National Onsite launched in February after extensive field testing and is available on all major app stores. www.nationalonsite.com; 833-659-6262
